Happy Friday and Happy 2012! Holy Cow January and it is 56 degrees here!?!?! Love it! Just wanted to share a card I made with the stamp set called "Lucy's Cheese". I haven't been stamping as much the past few weeks, mostly been crocheting.

Sad News....

The Angel Company has had to close their doors. I can't tell you how sad I feel. It was so great being part of a wonderful company for seven years. I enjoyed every minute of it. I will not be giving up stamping or blogging! I will be continuing my classes also.

Mama Wants..

This is my first attempt at using my new stamp set from The Angel Company, "Mama Wants" She comes wish a whole bunch of sassy wordings. This wording is.. "Age is a Number" Inside says, "And Mine is Unlisted, Happy Birthday" from the matching word set, Age is a Number. I am sending this off to my sister for her birthday. I don't know if you can see all the glitter on her belt, top of her dress and hat for glitz and rhinestones on around the wording. Fun!!

Konnichiwa - Hello

Happy Monday! I received my new set "Konnichiwa" which says Hello in Japanese. This adorable set has three cute girls and lots
of other images. I used my brand new edge punch. Hard to tell in the scan because of the dark brown card stock. Colored her with my Copic markers. I have to work on my hair coloring technique, but I think passable for my first time with black hair.

Savvy Projects Blog Guest Designer

I am so excited today. I was chosen to be the Guest Designer for The Angel Company's Savvy Projects Blog. Above is my card.
I was given a card sketch to follow. Others all this week have the same card sketch. Just take a look and see how different all the cards look using the same sketch. When using sketches, you can follow literally or make a few changes to make it your own.
Sketches are a great way to get you through those blocks when you need a little help as to how to get those cards/scrapbook pages put together. Here I used the stamp set Just Theo. I love this little guy! The Angel Company actually has three different little sets featuring him. He makes me smile!! The card stock is from TAC and named Cha Cha. Bright and fun!

I know today is only Monday, but tomorrow at The Angel Company is Tune in Tuesday. Tomorrow is a busy day so I wanted to make sure I posted my card. The theme is Black & White with a Pop of Color.

I used the retired stamp set from TAC called Purr-fect Friends. This is a fun set to play with. Who knows, maybe one day it will come back with their Blast from the Past stamps. Enjoy!

I am about to mail this shimmery card out and thought I would share it first. I know I have blogged cards made with this adorable stamp before, but I can't help it I LOVE IT!

I don't know if you can tell from the scan but the pink card stock is all shimmery and the green is sparkly. In the center of the flowers are clear crystals. Very girly. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Here is another masculine card made with The Angel Company's stamp set, Outdoor Adventures.
If I didn't say it before, I LOVE this set! The blue of the water unfortunately does not show up with my scanner.
The colors are much brighter in person ugh.
The wording is my own and on the inside I wrote, Happy Birthday. I thought it would be great for a 50th or 60th etc.

My card is made with the stamp set "Outdoor Adventures" from The Angel Company. My boys have been in Scouting for many many years. My older son is an Eagle Scout and one is a Life Scout, working towards Eagle. This stamp set reminds me of all their campouts and them coming home all bit up by those mosquitos! This Tune In Tuesdays theme is flowers. I made this card using The Angel Company's stamp set Sunshine. It has two different sunflowers that are GORGEOUS! I used the Scor-Pal to scor the green piece and Scor-Bug to make "stitches". The sunflower has lots of glitter that my scanner does not show and is colored with Copic markers. The background is stamped with Versa Mark ink with the stamp set "Basic Blooms" a hostess Level A set from TAC. HMMMMM, who to send this card to? Let's see your flower cards, play along!

This was a tougher challenge to me as I only have one "Irish" stamp, and that is the clover from a retired set "Seasonal Scribbles".
Then I thought of the girl from "Everything is Blooming". She is one of my absolute favorite stamps I own. I covered her flower and made a little clover cut out and attached over it. The "Happy St. Patrick's Day comes from the set "Trendy Greetings" which I also have. All stamps are from

My sister is a breast cancer survivor. She and my niece are going to do the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer in the spring. They have to raise a lot of money to be able to join the walk and of course the money is for such a great cause. I will be selling these cards to try to help them raise some of the money. I stopped by a local farm yesterday and had a fun time talking to the farmer's wife. They grow beautiful sunflowers along with tons of other flowers and vegetables. This card was inspired by that visit and for our friend's wedding anniversary. Hopefully they won't see this post until they receive the card shhhhh!! This is an Angel Company new stamp from a cute stamp set call of course Sunflowers! Ahh, my big brother is turning 50. He always gives irreverent themed cards, so I came up with this one for him. The inside says, 50 Isn't Old If You Are A Tree. The saying was given to me by Diane a fellow Demonstrator. I colored this with my Copics, except the sky is sponged. I cut the hats from the matching paper. What do you think?

The New Catalog Is Coming!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to announce the release of TAC's newest catalog and inspiration book! Here are two sneak peeks for you. The first is a card my friend and fellow Angel made today for a shoebox swap we are doing tomorrow. We are going to have a little seminar gathering of sorts to swap cards, do some business planning and make a few class samples. The second hedgehog card is mine.

The ties are stamps from a long retired TAC set called Fathers Day. Celebrate is from the Toodles stamp set and Linear Sentiments set are the polka dots. I colored with Copic Markers.

Birthday

O, where O where does the time go? My son was sick, then I had the holidays here, then my cat got sick (still working on this one) and then I got a virus that turned into a sinus infection. I have been home sick for over a week now. In the meantime, my nephew's 21st birthday is this weekend and made him a quick birthday card. Inside it says You Are Toadally Awesome. I have not stamped (gasp) in weeks. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things! Hope you are all well.

So sorry it has been so long again! I have been busy trying to organize some of my supplies and just life in general. Believe me I still have a long way to go. Hope you like this card. This card is dedicated to my friend who said that she has a hard time with orange outside of Halloween. I think orange is bright and cheerful. This orange in person is a pumpkin orange. It looks kind of redder from my scanner. What do you think?

It's A Blizzard Out There!

Wow, I am soo glad that I can be inside stamping today! We are supposed to get 12-15 inches by tomorrow morning. This is a card we made at my last class. Stamps are from The Angel Company. We stamped the hearts on white card stock with black ink and stamped it again on red card stock and cut out the center of the heart and attached them. Hope you all have a wonderful day! This card is made with the TAC stamp set Cheery Thoughts from the Inspiration Avenue Fall/Winter catalog. This set has the cutest girls. I used TAC's card stock Miss Moxie. I love our Corner Chomper to round the corners, so easy to use. I think this card would be great for Valentines Day or for anyone who just needs a HUG!
